Land-Based Projects at the UBC Farm

The UBC Farm receives many requests for field plots, or physical space to host various levels of research, student activities and community programming. These are all considered ‘land-based projects’. If you would like to have a Land-Based Project at the UBC Farm, please submit an application to the CSFS Land Use Committee:

2) Submit an application here. The project proposal will be reviewed by the CSFS Land Use Committee and we aim to respond to all requests within 2 weeks. You can save and continue your application through this link.

1) What is a land based project at UBC Farm?
Any research, teaching, or community-based land use beyond one-time use.

2) What if my project is short term?
You should still fill out the Proposal Submission Form.

3) What if I only need to use some space at the farm for a one day, or short term event?

4) Where can I find the UBC Strategic Plan?

5) What does “Green Academic” mean?
Find out more about why the UBC Farm is designated Green Academic and what that means here.

6) Still have more questions, unsure whether you should fill in an application?
